Highlight of my day: For whatever reason, the 1st and 2nd graders went on a cleaning FRENZY in the room after snack break. They were wiping down all the tables, including my entire desk (while I was sitting there - they took things out of my hand and moved them), with Clorox wipes and picked up all the trash... I didn't argue it at. all. However, the best part was when one of my 1st graders was cleaning the sink area, and all of a sudden, I hear a scream. Followed by a brief pause. Followed by, "Holy crackers!! That's freaking HOT!"
Moments like that make me love being a teacher. Especially with these kids.
